More than 100 countries are identified as host countries for US military

CNN reported this past week that there's more than 100 countries worldwide (actually, I think its about 200 countries) who permit US installations on their soil.  By so doing, they enable close ties for military assistance and training of each host country's military as requested and/or needed.  President Trump has said that while the US welcomes opportunities to serve the host countries, each would be assessed some kind of payment stipend on a "case-by-case" basis.

It is interesting to note that the area of the world where this program has seen the greatest enthusiastic welcome is in the Middle East, particularly in the Qatar region, CNN reports.
