--Now that I have my own computer--don't rely on just computers in public libraries--and have a relatively permanent place to live--Las Vegas!--etc., I am able to produce manuscripts rather quickly (for me).
--I've completed an initial trial balloon of 4 items on Christian Pragmatics in the Didactics series--"Format," "Meta-Elements," "Religious Value of the Synoptic Gospels;" and "The Eucharist." That is to say, I've done what I promised to some friends who were interested in my theological approach to the Church. If there's any further interest in my theology, I'd be certainly willing to expand topics--I've got some in the back of my mind; but there's no compelling reason from my point of view to go further into religion. I have no "burning desire." I'd delve into the subject matter, if it would do some good for those in everyday activities administering the Gospel message within the Christian community.
--I've turned my attention to the topic Social Meaning, the last in the Social-X series.

Crimean Invasion Meeting with Resistance
I have communiques that suggest the Crimean conquering hasn't been that smooth as the Russians expected.
Now, Russia is threatening the entire Ukraine. I know the Ukrainian freedom fighters will do their best to defend their independence. But they have no force equivalent to the Russians.
President Obama, I understand, has issued or will issue another warning. He should take himself to Syria and beg for forgiveness for all the Syrians that have died because there is no help against the Russian onslaught by proxy on their land! Congress has not been his problem due to the incredible energy of Senator Reid. His problem is indecisiveness.
Obama was educated at Chicago University and should have benefitted from that.

Latest news on CNN by Zakaria indicates Russia wants either a puppet government in Kiev or wants to take over the country by force. In any case, it assumes a threatening posture towards the Ukraine.
Putin himself has raised the stakes. No longer is it a matter of one country, the Ukraine, or Crimea on the Black Sea. the prize. But now it's the entire number of satellite nations that if Russia has its way will return to be one with Russia. Even now Russia demands from each of them a specified amount of materials and grains for it to continue as a sovereign state. Putin is headed toward threatening their independence. I'm working, or trying to be cooperative, with a new group of supporters of my efforts. These folks have different ideas than I'm used to following, but I'm game!
Anyway, they were the ones who came up with the personal history item and now they've got me to try a topic entitled scribblings. I told them I don't think the items will make sense to anybody but my own sub-conscious! Anyway, I'm going to try it for a week or so.

Personal History Record of John O.
--I'm starting a new topic in -John's "What's up?", that will contain remembrances of my past and current activities.
--First off, in my visit to Moscow, Russia to help on the Russian Federation Constitution, there are tapes on file up to 4 hours in duration on my suggestions as a contributior.
--There won't be any record for now as to my activities, past and present, regarding any possible projects I've worked on, or am working on, with China at their request.
--I'll try to include any possible needs I may have, so that things remain transparent to the degree possible.
--I'm gaining in support for my staying in Las Vegas. Thank you!

In the interests of Christian history, I attended Union Theological Seminary when Paul Tillich, German Theologian, had just retired though Reinhold Niebuhr was still teaching; and I met him. When I went back to New York University to complete the Ph.D. program in philosophy, I did my M.A. thesis, neophyte that I was, on Tillich's concept of the religious experience.
My roommate at Union was a young man slated to be a minister in Troy, New York. We had some discussions on theology. I don't know where he is, but I can almost guarantee that he became a minister in the Troy, New York area. I found it hard to stay in the Union dorms that one year I attended Union, but he may remember some things. Nice guy.
My sister, Sheila, always was my mainstay. Whatever, she believed that I with her help would radically change the world! She--for some reason that I could never figure out--gave my letters to her to the Episcopal Church, probably Trinity Church in New York or St. Bartholomew's Church on Park Avenue, where she was a member during the times prior to her untimely death due to illness (She committed suicide only when she knew she was shortly to die), during my first marriage to Barbara Ann Ogle.

--I went to a theological seminar today and discovered that I could say just about anything on the topic of theology and it would be better than the stuff I was hearing is prevalent today! So motivated, I am working feverishly toward the topic in theology I'm most interested in--what it means to 'draw nigh to God.'
I've just written up what I believe to be the instructive nature of the Gospels to improve upon our initial contact with God, the power of the universe, and His Son, Jesus Christ. This jargon may seem not theological, but downright the language of the believer in contact with God already. That's because God is everywhere; and we just need to attune ourselves to His Presence. The reason for nourishing this relationship of God to man in the omni-presence of God in the world is to enable us to become even more Godlike, by drawing upon His power. In the New Testament, the Holy Spirit is the vehicle by which man comes to draw 'nigh to God.' But the Bible tells us, we need to over and over again establish that moment of contact with God through God's Holy Spirit. I shall use the Eucharist as the exemplar of how this is accomplished.
