Scotland: Not Now; Kurdistan: YES!

Well, little hope was given for Scotland to go independent.  UK has made promises; Parliament will probably reject most of these.

Better, the chances that the Kurds will go independent.  No need to fight with the Shites, who hate them.  No need to assist the Sunnis, who look like they're still in Iraq limbo.  Baghdad won't do anything they're not forced to by the US to back the Sunnis, should the Sunnis plan to reject the ISIS forces. 

The real problem continues to be that the US has trained a million or so forces who turned out to be in the hands of a Shite regime.

Scotland Really Going Independent?

I was surprised that pundits are giving Scotland a good chance to go independent on first crack. I was thinking it would take several attempts before they won their freedom from the UK.

The facts that they are privy to North Sea oil and make great Scotch Whiskey give them a sound economic base that could affect the English pound.

Here's hoping they make it!
